This unique desert is home to the most recognizable cactus in the world, the majestic saguaro.
I found the State Parks interpretive centre very
interesting, informative & entertaining. Visit if you have the chance, but remember it is outside the Saguaro National
Park confines. Being close to the Cactii makes one realize
the tremendous size of some of these plants. It is rather difficult to picture how they can grow to the size they
are, especially in a climate that is so devoid of moisture. Cactus, Cactus, Cactus. Saguaro National Park has many
of the very large cactii within its` confines.
